Electric Materials Div. 1
Products in the field of electronic and information devices are becoming smaller and offering higher functionality. We support customer product development through the provision of cutting-edge substrate materials.
BT resin printed circuit board material offers high heat resistance and low thermal expansion and is used primarily in package substrate applications for semiconductors and electronic devices. We have captured a large share of the global market.High Performance FR-4 for epoxy resin-based PWB offers high heat resistance and high frequency performance. Used in motherboards for large servers and other applications, it has earned a high level of trust.Our LE SHEET is a subsidiary material for the drilling of circuit boards. It greatly increases the efficiency of through-hole drilling and is used by many printed circuit board manufacturers.
Electric Materials Div. 2
Smartphones and other multimedia devices that we use on a daily basis are rapidly increasing in function while also becoming thinner and more compact, features that are at odds with each other.
Various metals are used to manufacture the electronic components, including printed circuit boards, which are the core component. The machining accuracy is also becoming increasingly exact, and it is no longer possible to manufacture these components without chemical treatment.
The biggest requirement in this field is that the metal be pristine.Surface treatment technology is used to remove oxide and contaminants from the metal and make the surface as pure as possible.We stand out from the competition as a pioneer in chemical abrasives.
Engineering Plastics Div.
The core products in our Engineering Plastics Div. are our high-performance, high-value-added engineering plastics. With a full lineup of molding materials including the five major engineering plastics, and resin processed products such as polycarbonate sheets and film, we can meet the diversifying requirements of our customers in all sorts of applications such as automotive parts, medical equipment, construction materials, home appliances, and household goods.
Life Solutions Div.
The Life Solutions Division handles an extensive product range supporting our daily lives, including food products and pharmaceuticals through to smartphones and other information devices. Our AGELESS® oxygen absorber ensures the safety and security of food and pharmaceutical products, and our RP System® enhances quality maintenance and the reliability of industrial products. Our lineup of environmentally friendly products aims for zero loss and zero waste, in line with the SDGs. Furthermore, our optical plastics enrich and enhance the comfort and quality of life through various applications such as eyeglass lenses. One example being our optical resin polymer Iupizeta® EP which combines excellent high refractive index and low birefringence characteristics for use as a high-performance camera lens material for smartphones, in-vehicle devices, and other devices.
