Message from the President
As the trading sector company of a distinctive chemical company, MITSUBISHI GAS CHEMICAL COMPANY, INC. (MGC), Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading, Inc., is tasked with sales and marketing of the products of each of the companies in the Group to markets around the world.
In 2020 the three trading companies that were our predecessors merged to allow us to deal with a broader range of products and markets. Carrying a wide range of products from chemicals to printed circuit boards, synthetic resins, oxygen absorbers, and packaging materials, our activities—including sales and raw material procurement—are becoming increasingly globalized.
Our activities are not restricted to the sale, distribution, and purchasing of chemical products; we also leverage extremely precise marketing efforts to disseminate information, offer proposals for new businesses, and use the “power of chemistry” together with the “power of connection”, contributing to the well-being of people around the world and the coexistence with the global environment.
That commitment has also been incorporated into the design of the company logo. The three spheres in the center represent the three trading companies of the past as well as people, technology, and information. The core activity of the organization is a dynamic combination of these. Moreover, the large loop that encloses them is the circle of communication that connects the MGC Group and the society as a whole, and the ascending spiral represents the hope and expectation that will unite as one.
Ultimately, the strength of an organization originates from passion of people. Our mission is to create an environment in which our employees are able to work happily, allowing both the company and individual people to grow further, thus meeting the expectations of society.
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading will work closely with Group companies to achieve the MGC Group mission, “Creating value to share with society,” making full and effective use of the many advanced core technologies of MGC and MGC group as a whole and strive to address social issues through our daily business activities.
