Sustainability Promotion Guidelines
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading, Inc. (MTI) contributes to the realization of a harmonious and sustainable society that continues to grow, in line with the MGC Group's mission of " Creating value to share with society ." MTI deeply recognizes corporate responsibility in the areas of environment, society, and corporate governance, and conducts its business activities in accordance with the MGC Corporate Behavior Principles.

Sustainability management structure
MTI promotes sustainability through the Internal Control Risk Management Committee and engages in activities to improve any issues that arise.
Basic Sustainability Policy
Our basic sustainability policy is as follows:
- ① Comply with domestic and international laws and regulations.
- ② Support and respect the protection of internationally declared human rights, and ensure that we do not participate in human rights violations.
- ③ Respect the right of employees to unite.
- ④ Do not engage in any form of forced labor.
- ⑤ Do not employ children who do not meet the legal working age in the countries and regions where we conduct business activities.
- ⑥ Do not discriminate in employment and occupation.
- ⑦ Establish and operate an environmental management system.
- ⑧ Do not engage in corrupt practices such as coercion, corruption, or bribery using a position of privilege.
- ⑨ Not to provide or receive inappropriate benefits.
- ⑩ Do not engage in anti-competitive practices such as cartels or bid rigging.
- ⑪ We respect not only our own intellectual property rights but also those of other companies and do not infringe upon them.
- ⑫ Properly manage and protect confidential information obtained from customers and third parties. Additionally, appropriately manage and protect personal information of customers, third parties, and our employees.
- ⑬ By educating and raising awareness among employees, we will prevent misconduct and establish a reporting system to strive for early detection and correction of misconduct.

Compliance
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading, Inc. defines “Compliance” as complying with laws, regulations, company rules, and social norms while recognizing the company’s social responsibility as a business and engaging in fair, transparent, and free business activities.
Accordingly, we believe that in the event of inappropriate actions or actions in violation of compliance that are undertaken by employees or executives of this company or its affiliated companies, it is essential that associated persons report and seek consultation on said acts in order for the company to function as a member of society, and thus we have established a Compliance Hotline. Those who are facing difficulties regarding compliance-related matters can consult the Compliance Hotline to obtain advice.

3.Responses to reports and consultations
- We conduct investigations of facts based on reports and consultations, and take any corrective actions required. We also provide feedback to persons who make reports.
4.Other
- As a general rule, we ask that contact regarding reports and consultations be made via methods that leave a record, such as by email, in writing, or by fax. Consultations and reports can be made anonymously, but we must ask for contact information in order for the Compliance Hotline to contact you with results. Under the provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act, persons using this Hotline to make reports will not be subjected to any disadvantage.
- We are not able to respond to reports or consultations made with malicious intent, such as slander, baseless accusations, or harassment.

We set environmental goals and targets for our business activities and work to achieve them while continuously improving our Environmental Management System through economic endeavors that take the protection of the environment into account.

ISO14001 Certification
We have established an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO14001 and obtained "ISO14001:2015" certification in October 2022.
This applies to the Headquarters, Osaka Branch, Nagoya Branch, Fukuoka Branch, and Nagoya Laboratory.

CSR Procurement (Purchasing) Guidelines
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading (MTI) is committed to conducting its business activities under the social responsibilities expected of companies. This guideline aims to establish sustainability standards for our procurement and sales of products, as well as for the sourcing of raw materials, in order to achieve CSR procurement. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
1.Objectives
Based on the social responsibilities required of companies, MTI has created guidelines and aims to achieve CSR procurement throughout the supply chain by presenting these guidelines to suppliers and sources of raw materials.
2.Request to suppliers and procurement partners
- ① To prioritize the "Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading CSR Procurement Guidelines" established by MTI.
