Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor Powder "DIANA ND"
DIANA ND is a white, odorless volatile corrosion inhibitor powder for steel. It gradually vaporizes (sublimates) in the product inside the packaging, and the resultant gas is chemically and electrically adsorbed to the surface of the metal to effectively prevent corrosion.
It is suitable for temporary and long-term storage of electrical equipment, precision machinery, machine tools, and automobile steel materials, products, and parts, and for preventing corrosion of export packaging.
Effective even in air and humid environments
The product gradually vaporizes (sublimates) at room temperature, and the resultant gas inside the packaging is chemically and electrically adsorbed to the surface of the metal to effectively prevent corrosion even in areas subject to air and humidity.
Compatible with complexly-shaped objects
Packaging the item so that the vaporized gas does not escape means that the product is effective even on complexly-shaped objects.
Compatible with items on which anti-rust oils cannot be used
This product helps prevent corrosion on items which are incompatible with anti-rust oils or on which oils cannot be applied, and eliminates the need for frequent cleaning after anti-corrosion treatment.
Compatible with items that require ultra-high levels of precision
Because the crystallized powder is extremely soft at a Mohs hardness of nearly 1, it will not scratch steel, nickel, aluminum, chrome, lead, or copper, making it safe to use even on items that require ultra-high levels of precision.
