Marvel coat®
Astounding water and oil repellency!
The fluorine-type coating agent Marvel coat® has a high-function fluorine polymer dissolved in a Hydrofluoroether (HFE), a fluorine-type fluid, forms an extremely thin clear coating when applied to surfaces of metal, glass, resin, etc., and is capable to yielding a superior water- and oil-repellency effect.
Environmental considerations
- Zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0)
- Extremely low global warning potential (GWP = 297, not subject to the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures)
- Not subject to the PRTR law
- Not subject to the Air Pollution Control Act
- Contains no PFOS PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid)
Functionality
- Superior water- and oil-repellency
- ≤1㎛ thin film and low surface tension (enabling precision coating)
- Little damage to subject materials
- High heat resistance (no change even when heated to 175°C)
